The differentiation I'm making is between hardware types. For example, RDP (HP) will only support stuff on their own support matrix, i.e. ML\BL\DL servers and a small number of blade PC's.

If we want to deploy standard desktops using the RDP server (not on that support list), then I think a separate license is required from Symantec so support is available. Functioanly though, as I understand it, the RDP server will happily deploy thin and PC clients, but if ther are any issues, they will not be supported through by HP unless they are on the list (i'd like to post the list, but the site wont let me).
