DEP - PC reccords not updating hostname
In my DEP console, its showing all PC's in there, but in the case when i rename a PC (for whatever reason) the DEP console is not updating or reflecting the change.
So i have a PC
WAS named COMPUTER1, shows up as COMPUTER1 in DEP.
I rename that machine to COMPUTER2, but Altiris DEP still shows it up as COMPUTER1.
Any tips ?

I'm feeling pretty ignorant when asking this but what is the DEP console?

Hi celicasx,
If you're talking about Deployment Console, go to Tools -> Options -> Global and check the following item:
- Synchronize display names with Windows computer names

Dep = deployment console
