AClient Connect Problems

Has anyone seen this. We seem to be getting this error msg on a regularly.

altiris client service for windows (version 6.5.233)
connect () failed. error the server is not responding, or is not running.
computer name: md-swalsh-02

What would cause this to start coming up so often?

Are you using the hostname or the IP address to connect to your DS? We have the best results using the IP address... except when I make a global change and reverse the last two octets of the IP address (I don't recommend doing that... it kinda-really sucks).

I am using the host name. I will set it up to start using the IP address to see if that helps. Thanks for your input.
