Hi,

I've already passed the Deployment server quiz (060-515DS6.1). Excuse the sarcasm but I've been study for the remaining two exams.

Altiris Notification Server and Inventory Solution Basics (6.0 060-412NS6.0)
Altiris Client Management Suite (6.0 060-412CMS6.0)

I'm currently using the study manual titled 'Altiris Notification Server and Solutions included in Client Management Suite 6.0, Installation and Configuration Student Guide' Version 6.0.9.10.

Now I may be stating the blatantly obvious, but why has Altiris released one study manual for two exams? If anybody can tell me how I should be studying for these exams, I would be eternally gratefull. I'm particularly interested in finding out if the student guide is relevent and if it is, which chapters relate to which exam.

Unfortunately, there's no one "right" answer to your question of what to study. There are multiple versions of each exam, so the topics run the entire spectrum of the Table of Contents.
Some general study guide lines that I've been given are:
Focus more time on Chapters 2, 4, 5, 7, & 8
Focus less time on Chapters 1, 3, 6, 9, 10, & 11
But still read them all, practice in a lab or virtual environment, and do all of the available exercises.

Hi Guys,

I am about to start my ACE track, i want to start with DS 6.1, i have finished reading the training manual.

Can anyone give me an hint on what to actually focus on before i go in for my exam. i hope to write the exam before the end of the week.

I scored 86%,

I will going for my Notification exam next week, any useful hints from u guys will be appreciated.
