Question Count of Purchased Licenses showing zero!

Hi there. I am a newb to Asset Control and Contract Mgmt suite and am trying to run through some test setups using the official v6.2 documentation. I am confused and frustrated why when I create a Win32 license, assign a purchase as well as a Purchase Order (which includes the quanity) that a total of zero shows up under Summary for the Win32 license. As far as I can tell I have the quanity setup and linked in the PO, as well as in the Software Purchase.

Any help would be appreciated!

I am also having this problem; after refreshing the summary tab, my count still reads 0. So any help/suggestions would be doubly appreciated!

Can you send a screen shot of your Software Purchases tab for a Win32 license and also of the General tab under one of your Purchase Orders listed in the Software Purchases?

I pretty sure that in my instance, my particular problem is tied in with the original difficulties i had trying to create rules for/add a software purchase which I posted about here:
Trouble with software purchases/installs in CMDB - Altirigos

because, like that other problem, this 0 purchase showing is quirky and only happens at random times for random users. good times!

Count of Purchased Licenses showing zero

I had the same issue, and the gotcha for me was that within the W32 License on the "Software Purchases" tab instead of creating a rule I added my software purchase under "Other Software Purchases", then refreshed the "All Software Purchases". I then proceeded to the "Software Installs" tab and under the "Software License Search Rules" I chose to "Add List", and this allows you to search software discovered via inventory giving you a more accurate focus for software names and or versions. Once I found the desired software from the list I applied those choices, and then proceeded to the "Summary" tab and refreshed the summary via the circular arrows icon on your far right. I hope this helps, and bear in mind finding the software with the "Add List" option takes a little trial and error to narrow to a specific version of a specified software.

Good Luck
