Move asset data from test server to production server

I need use connector solution to move asset data - org types, imported assets from a test server to a production server.

Does anyone have any pointers on the best way to do this? I know I can connect directly with the test server's SQL db but am unsure which tables to use to access the org types and asset data.

I will need to import the created data sources and resource types using xml and not the DB right?

Any tips or pointers from someone who has done this would be helpful.

Inventory forwarding will not bring over everything I need. It will take connector solution to bring over the locations, cost centers, departments, etc.

I am working on it now and just imported cost centers. Looks like I will have to do this table by table.

Thanks.
