RIP Failure

I am using a script job to start a RIP package.
In the advanced options of the script job, I set it to run as a service account with Domain Admin rights.
I am entering it as domain\username
The script runs on the local PC, and starts the Altiris job, but then get the following error.
RIP Failure! The specified user cannot be found.
If I set the 'run as' user to be the same as the current logon user, then the RIP will run, but it will not run as the service account.
There does not appear to be an issues with the permissions of the service account or its password.
This process has worked fine in the past, but has just started giving this error.
I am running the RIP via a script because it running against a XP64-bit pc, and it needs to be started as a script for it run.
Can anyone help with this problem?
Thanks
