Hi there,

I need to run a vbscript to verify file version that check if current installation for firefox is older, then run new install, otherwise exit

Pretty simple to do - this should get you started.

Scripting Files and FileSystems using VBScript

Basic gist is return the version as a variable. And then run it through an If/Then statement.
