Ok I dont see it in the instructions.. but how does one get the Enclosure and blades to show up in DS????

our dell blades built and running DS agent shows up as...

didnt know that was there..
however I did that and now have
Physical Devices at the bottom .. when I right click and choose new virtual bay I get .... Missing enclosures.ini

Ok I got it.. was able to add the enclosure from DS logged into the server..

Then things still didnt work right until I figured out why..

DOH... we have 8 esx servers on those blades.. so they wont show up right.... however we are going to take blade 9-16 in the future and install them as servers thus that is when they should show up right...

Right, you will need to install the ADLAGENT on the ESX boxes for them to show up.

Glad you figured it out ... I was beginning to wonder what was different between your environment and mine
