Considering becoming an Altiris Administrator again...

Hey everyone. It's been quite some time since I have posted on here. I've been busy paving my career path with learning Dialer Administration skills for almost two years. I left my Desktop Support position because I hit a roadblock with an ass of a boss who was trying to fire me for whatever reason. I now have it really good. But I wonder sometimes if I should have stayed with the Altiris career path...

I miss managing the desktops and notebooks with Altiris. When I was at the ManageFusion in Orlando back in 06, I took the Deployment Solution exam and passed it which got me certified using that particular product. I had high hopes of moving up and expanding my knowledge of Altiris but the new boss who came in put a halt to all of that and forced me to make a decision.

I guess I just need to figure out if the grass is really greener on the other side of the fence. I feel secure right now in my current position. My boss is great, lets me work pretty much whenever I want. I have little to no supervision. But I don't feel like I am going anywhere with it. I just feel kind of stuck.

Thanks for lending an ear. If you have any constructive feedback, please share it with me. I'm just a young mind looking for some guidance.
