Question DataBAse question?

Ok we now have NS, SQL, Deployment and other solutions on one server. We are going to split to 2 deployment servers, 1 NS server and are thinking about seperating SQL to yet another server(we have gig backbone). My question is we have approx 5000-6000 clients, could we put the NS SQL and the DS SQL on the same server or are there issues with this? Does anyone here have a simular setup? Just FYI we will be adding another DS server(3rd) next year as well as another 1000 clients. This may be a little overkill but we know we are expanding quickly and want to make it easier on us later. The server we are thinking making the SQL server has 4 proc 2.5 with 4 gig of ram(ability to raise to 8 gig), 4 drive raid. So that would be 1 NS database and up to 3 DS databases on this server.

Rig: this is currently what What we got setup for our system.
Each DS has its own sql on it with about 3-4k clients on each, no issues at all.
For all our sites I have 21 Package servers.

I would recommend for your NS to be seperate and SQL on its own box. It really depnds on how big your environment is and what solutions you are going to be running.
