Upgrade 6.8 to 6.8 SP1
Well I tried to upgrade to 6.9 SP1 (5 times) but keep getting error 132 occured installing or updating a file. The file could be locked or in use. Stop all Altiris services and re-install.
I did stop service and no luck. I just tried it again and got same error but it seem to try and continue but is stuck at "Creating PXE image, please wait..." Been like this for 15 minutes so I guess its frozen.
Any ideas??? Thanks Kevin

Where are you running the install from? I ran into a similar problem in the past when I was trying to upgrade DS and I was running the installer from the express share.

Well files are on the Server D; drive in a folder called Altiris Setup files. DS is also installed on the D drive.

Creating PXE image, please wait...
I am installing DS 6.9 Sp1 on a clean server for the 1st time on D: drive. The installation files are on D drive but on a different folder.
I am stuck for over 15 minutes on "Creating PXE image, please wait...".
Does anybody has a resolution to this issue?

I had to install straight from the server using the service account that the Altiris services are using. I would try that if you haven't already.
Also, log in to the server (if using RDC) using the console mode:
%windir%\system32\mstsc.exe /console
