I'm currently running deployment solution version 6.9 server with about 800 clients. I've built a new deployment solution server version 6.9 SP1. I'm wondering the best way to bring the clients over? I tried export/importing, but ever after I adjust the production to point to the new server my test client wouldn't appear live in the new server.

I should mention I'm aclient.exe. The old server is windows 2003 the new server is 2008 and all the clients are xp pro sp3

Try this:

• Logon to your old server.
• Go to the test pc.
• Klik right button.
• Select production agent settings.
• Change the server name and ip address to the new server.

If it is correct your pc will appear in the new server.

You can select multiple clients in the console to change these settings.
