install deployment solution for dell servers

Ok so finally deployment solution for dell servers sp2 is out...
downloaded and upon installing it asked what models do I want to support.. I checked them off... 1950, 2950, R610, R710 and M600 blades

it asks for the support cd's... well i dont have them and the document states you can download them from here..
ftp://ftp.dell.com/sysman/

which one is it as this is quite hard to understand... i have always supported hp's!!!!!!!!

like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

Go here

Drivers & Downloads=

scroll down till you see "Systems Management" section.

Then about 1/4 down you should see

Dell - CD ISO IMAGES

applies to
CD ISO - Service and Diagnostics

Service and diagnostics is what you want.
The 1950 and the 2950 should be the same image file and the actual CD contains drivers for both.

Ok I HAD to go to the server to do this....

now I got a mess installed.. but cant get the M600, R610 or R710 installed....
once you choose the cd... it will auto select all versions that cd supports.. you cant unselect the ones you dont want... but that is fine..

I have tried the 4.5, 5.1. 5.3, and 6.0.1 cd... GRRRRRRRRRR

well that makes sense... it appears that dell changed things from cd 5.5 and up... called Altiris and they pointed me to KB 44246 and that worked.... although it works.. it is a slow process and I lost where I was... so most likely gonna start all over....
