How do I uninstall Office 2007 silently?

I've tried the MSI command located in the registry and that didn't work. I tried running the setup.exe /uninstall command and got some kind of error. I've looked online and have found out how to uninstall pieces of Office, but I want to uninstall the whole thing.

We have a testing lab that they constantly need Office 2003, then they will need Office 2007. We have to manually uninstall Office 2007.

Please help

I went with those steps, but now I'm getting something strange.

I have my config file setup the same way and I'm getting an error that says:

"The Setup configuration file \\server\gold\apps\office2k7\uninstall.xml is not valid. Run Setup again without using a Setup configuration file, or fix the configuration file."

Not sure what to look for. This is pretty new to me for a simple uninstall.

If this machine is in a testing lab and you need to switch from Office 2003 and 2007 why not create two seperate images with Altiris and simply choose which version you need on the fly. That way you always have a clean Office image to test with and you don't have to worry about any registry ghosts from multiple uninstall/reinstalls. (Much cleaner machine and better for testing.)

We create our images as stripped down as possible. We have just windows updates and customizations.

The test lab is for training. They call it the test lab, but it's where another department does all their training. So when they train in Office 2003, they need 03, but then they can call the next day and say, "We need Office 2007", so then we have to be able to send it.

I finally got it. I had to use the ProPlus msi in the ProPlus.WW folder and then use the silent switch on that. Granted, we still see an uninstall screen, there is no actual user input. That's the second package that is Microsoft that the silent switches aren't actually silent, they're just passive.

Why not install 2007 to another fold leaving 2003 in place. This is what I have done for training. 2003 is in the Program files/Microsoft Office folder and 2007 is in the program files/microsoft office 2007 folder. you can later remove one or the other as needed.
