Inventory Shortcuts

Does anyone have a good way of inventorying shortcuts? I am particularly interested in Desktop and Start Menu shortcuts that target a mapped drive or UNC. I have tried querying Win32_ShortcutFile but for some reason I cannot get it to return shortcuts on user's desktops. I have tried running it as System, as the logged in user and as a specified Administrator account with no luck. It will return every other shortcut on the system including those under the All Users and Default User Desktop.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi John, have u had any luck with this at all? I am trying to inventory some shortcuts and was wondering how you got on with this
