The goat logo is something temporary that I made until we can decide on something permanent.
Hey Guys and Gals,
We need a logo and need your help in creating one. Nick and I are about as artistic as a 2 year old and are quite sure that a few of you can come up with something cool.
Post your designs here and please make sure they:
- Say AltirisAdmin.com
- Are appropriate for all uses
- Do not violate any copyright laws
The winner will get something cool for their efforts (Nick...think of something cool).

I was going to have the goat eating a little stick figure holding a sign that said Agent35, but thought that might piss some people off. I like Agent35 and wouldn't want him to take it the wrong way.

This is what I'm working on as a base. I don't have my software right now to get fancy.
I want to have two A's semi overlapping side by side with a ring circling around the both of them from top right to bottom left at an angle.
I then thought that the slogan beneath it as follows:
Altiris provides the Solutions, We provide the answers...AltirisAdmin.com
The two A's are pretty straight forward in the meaning. The circle is a play on the Altiris icon. One could view it as a segmented (broken) circle. Our icon circle is complete which would lend to getting the complete answer here.
Too deep perhaps but just an idea. Feel free to comment.

We'll end up with an "SS" logo with something about Chevy's rule.
Ahh well it's his fantasy I'll let him live it. :P

Nick suggested adding the goat to the current logo for fun, so I did. I think the goat might be here to stay for a while...I kind of like it.
I had it white, but it just didn't fit in well (you could barely see it) so I made it green. This logo is something temporary that I made while we're trying to figure out something better.

I'm not much of a graphics person, but I would suggest an 'A' wrapped around a goat. Slogan "Altiris got your goat?"

Glad my 2 cents were worth something. It just came to me with all the talk of the goat. Just so everyone knows I'm krullje04 from the yahoo groups. I only posted once or twice, but hope to become more involved.

I have attached an idea for logo. Basic concept: two high-tech looking "A" overlapping with the pieces of the circle coming together and the circle in the background represent our target for completion. Or something like that. (Sound familiar?)

Ok, I fixed your attachment for you. The other file that you sent me didn't come through on your email...I think you're having firewall issues sir (or Exchange issues).

Try it again.
[line]
When I preview the post, the attachment is there. But when I post the attachment does not work. Hmm.
[line]
OK, now I zipped the two files and added them as an attachment

aa.jpg opens fine but I can't open aa2.jpg. I get an error stating "Paint cannot read this file. This is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not currently support."
