OKAY - No Idea about this mac stuff, but being the Altiris Admin, been asked to look into it ---
Any documentation on HOW to image Macs via DS???
Also, is it possible to deploy software via the DS?

Chapter 14 of the DS Reference has the steps to do the Mac imaging.

Yes, it is possible to deploy software via the DS. I haven't done it myself as I don't have a MAC in my lab, however I have been told that it requires the following steps.

1. Install file be put into a zip file and sent down to the client.
2. Zip file uncompressed on the target system then run

I heard this was because Mac files get corrupted when placed on a Windows directory structure. Anyone more Mac savvy able to shed more light on that?
