Microsoft AD Import Fails after hotfix 34704

I met the prerequisites and after the upgrade I restarted the server and now when I try to view the AD import rules (Configuration>Server Settings>Notification Server Infrastructure>Microsoft Active Directory Import) I get the following error. I cannot find any info and any help would be appreciated.

try to repair the AD import tool from the console

If I can't do it from the console, permissions issue, can I use the .msi (C:\Program Files\Altiris\Setup Files\DirectoryConnector/DirectoryConnector.msi)? Will that have the same effect?
