I'm going to upgrade soon. I don't have multiple versions of .NET installed on my NS, but it's ok to have more than one version installed as long as Altiris is using 1.1. Here's a link to a KB article on registering .NET https://kb.altiris.com/article.asp?article=27432&p=1

Aye. That's what we did but every so often we get ASP errors and have to do an IISreset. And the erros are mark as .NET 2.0. It appears random and is resolved for a while after reset or reboot. Example:
