Talking Weird Scripting Issues in DS 6.9 SP1

All,

Having a frustating issue in 6.9 SP1 (build 365). Attempting to run some script jobs with my Altiris Service account in the Specify User field. Whenever the job runs - I receive an Error 87 - The Paramter is Incorrect. These scripts ran flawlessly previous to the upgrade and I confirmed I am using the correct credentials.

If I switch the job to use the local system account - it works fine - but on some of my scripting jobs I need the Altiris Service account's admin rights to execute functions - without it the script will fail or not do what its supposed to do.

There's nothing really crazy in the script - its a simply Regedit /S to add a setting to the registry.

Any ideas?

Also, I have noticed a new setting, Run Script in Console User Session - I'm not familiar with this setting - what does it do?

Thanks!

There is an option somewhere (Tools > Options?) to change the account used for all scripts. You could try this and just re-enter the credentials. Do new scripts run OK?

I think the new "Console User" thingy is so that stuff can be run visible to the user in Vista/2008.
