DC software distribution of Office 2007

How can we deploy office 2007 in silent mode using the Altiris Deployment Console?

Server Share with the MSI for the installer on a volume that the computers can get to, and then call the MSI with the quiet commands from an Altiris job?

We used to have a common distribution point where all of our computers had access to the share and the installation files sat there. The DS job just called the MSI with any transformers we had by referencing the path to the installation files and the MSI. Then you can use the MSI command line switches in the run script job from DS.

Sorry I did not specify in details, here is the thing I have a volume licence visio 2007 cd, it looks like it does not have an MSI file but only a setup.exe. I tried creating a custom install file .msp as also noted on previous posts. So I run setup.exe /admin created visiotest.msp and created a script that runs setup.exe /adminfile visiotest.msp. What I am getting out of this is an error that say's " 'Setup was aborted. Setup customization files are not supported on this Microsoft Office product type. Run Setup again without using a Setup customization file. This customization file may be located in the Updates older of the installation image.'

If this is not working what is the best way I can SILENT install this through DC?

Adding SP1 to Office2007 Push ?

Just change productfolder to Visio's and make it silent in the MSP. Doing a search of these forums will give you numberous scripts and information about Office 2007. Also you can look in the Package KB at appdeploy.com

In your network install point, create a folder called Updates. Copy your MSP to that folder. Then create a deployment console job that calls setup.exe. Setup will automatically look for that folder and apply your settings.
