Delete Orphaned PC's from database?

Is there a SAFE way to delete orphaned PC's that are stuck in the database? We did an upgrade of the NS in March of 08 (I was not part of the upgrade process so I don't exactly know what was done). Since then it looks like there are a number of entries left in the database of old PC records with a last inventory date of 3/15/08. These PC's do not show up in the NS front end but their ResourceGUID still shows up in tables like Inv_AeX_SW_Audit_Software so they are throwing off our licensing counts.

Is there any way to delete these PC's from all tables if I know their ResourceGUID's? This will be fine for the ones that I know about, but it would also be nice to delete any ResourceGUID's that show an inventory date of 3/15/08 or older. Is this possible?
