Unhappy SQL and other event errors

I have been these errors for some time now and I think it may be the reason why the Altiris Jobs are running so slow but I may be wrong. I don't know what happened but these errors/warning are always showing up in Event Viewer and if you have any ideas please let me know. Below are the errors:

Source: Perflib Event id: 1010 Error

The Collect Procedure for the "DTSPipeline" service in DLL "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn\dtspipelineperf.dll" generated an exception or returned an invalid status. Performance data returned by counter DLL will be not be returned in Perf Data Block. The exception or status code returned is the first DWORD in the attached data.

The configuration information of the performance library "C:\WINDOWS\system32\aspperf.dll" for the "ASP" service does not match the trusted performance library information stored in the registry. The functions in this library will not be treated as trusted.

These are the errors and are from Windows Server 2003 x64 Enterprise Edition. I followed the KB article that talks about unloading and reloading the counters but that did not fix the problem.

Is there a solution to this issue?

We are experiencing this identical issue as well. Has anyone discovered a solution?

Bumping an old thread since I don't see any suggestions. I am getting the same thing as well. Did the OP figure it out by chance?

Hi Folks, I'm also getting this error on an our NS which is only 2days old, its MS Svr 2003 R2, and connected to a separate SQL Svr 2005 SP2 with the SQL Support tools loaded on the NS as well. I've been searching for a solution too.. I’ve Google the error a hundred times to day.. but no luck in finding a solution,

The only hint I have is that my error started really early on Monday morning at 12:07am, the server was built and Altiris installed on Friday night, no errors, and the only thing installed on Sunday night, was the Dell client management tools which I can see were installed at around 6pm which leaves 6 hours until the error starts to occur.

Any ideas? Or suggestions?

I’m about to build a sand pit NS environment, and see if I can replicate the problem.
