Hello All:

Has anyone successfully used DS for Physical to Virtual (P to V) server imaging?

I have migrated several Servers from Physical by uploading an Image of the Physical Server using RDeploy and then Downloading the Image to the Virtual. VMWare has a P2V Tool that converts everything over. I mainly did it on Test Servers but they worked.

Lightbulb Ds P2v

Hi all,

I've wanted to try this out but haven't managed to get into a lab to try it. I was hoping to take an image of the P box and then inject the VMware drivers before squirting the image down to a VM on ESX. Very keen to hear if anybody has done this...!

Best regards,

merse
